Thank you for considering Goodnightsa.co.za in order to promote your property.
GoodnightSA is one of only a few websites which charges no booking commission and also allows you to communicate personally with potential guests via telephone, through their website or e-mail.
It has become very apparent that paying the monthly or once-off annual advertising fee to Goodnightsa.co.za makes far more Money-sense, than parting with 17% (average) every time bookings are made via the commission-based, online websites.
Although we try wherever possible to approve all applications, we reserve the right to decline applications that do not comply with our marketing strategies. This may not necessarily have any bearing on the quality of the property.
Our slogan states that persons searching for accommodation on the Goodnight SA website will “deal directly with the business owners / establishment“.
Therefore, persons in any way associated with the organisations listed below (or similar organisations) may NOT register properties on the GoodnightSA website:
- Body Corporates, Developers or Management who rent out flats on behalf of owners.
- All enquiries or bookings are required to be entertained by the BUSINESS OWNER / ESTABLISHMENT and may not be forwarded on to any individuals / organisations listed above.
- GoodnightSA subscribers may not rent out properties on behalf of other private individuals (friends, family or other).
- Property owners who own more than one unit and rent them out as a short or long term basis are required to advertise all properties.
Hotels and Holiday Resorts with in-house reservations facilities are welcome to register (non-commission facilities).
Any persons owning more than one property is required to list ALL properties. Owners may not register ONE property / business and use the enquiries to market the remaining un-listed properties / businesses. Ownership of an entire multi-unit complex or apartment block should contact GoodnightSA for subscription fee assessment.
Resorts and Hotel Groups are the only MULTI-UNIT properties which form an exception to this rule.
Contravention of these rules will cause the relevant property / properties or businesses to be deleted from this website without refund.
GoodnightSA reserves the right to refuse unsuitable applications. We also reserve the right to cancel any existing subscriptions related to public complaints or advertisements that do not comply with our policies or strategies. Goodnight SA will review all reviews before placing them on our website. If your listing receives a bad review, we will investigate the matter with the owners and try to sort out any problems experienced by the guest.
All design elements and website construction are influenced by our marketing strategies, and we are not obliged to alter these elements for any reason.
Properties should be available for occupation throughout the year (no timeshare/seasonal availability). Seasonal rates are accepted.
Properties that are up for sale will be required to display (on the listing, in the description section) the following “This property is on the market and will only accept bookings 3 months in advance”.
Persons who do not own the properties may not sublet the unit as holiday accommodation.
You can cancel your listing only after your listing time has expired. Yearly packages will expire after 12 months from enrollment.
If you want cancel your listing before the expiry date, a penalty of the remaining month’s subscriptions will be paid. Applicable on monthly packages.
If you want cancel your listing before the expiry date, no refunds for the remaining subscription time will be made. Applicable on annual paid packages.
Cancellation can only be performed by sending us an e-mail. Please state your reasons why you want to cancel your listing. No refunds will be paid out.
Please note that by becoming a member of Goodnightsa.co.za you agree to accept certain correspondence / notices via e-mail.
